Alhaji Yakubu Adam Kasule, Managing Director of Gbewaa Civil Engineering Ltd has died in London, the United Kingdom.
He died last Sunday according to family sources.
Alhaji Kasule was also a Director of the Ultra-Modern Mariam Hotel in Tamale.
Family sources say that his mortal remains will be returned to Accra next Thursday from where it will be moved to Tamale for burial.
Alhaji Kasule was an avowed Nkrumaist and was active in the campaign which brought Dr. Hilla Limann to power in 1979.
He was also a founding member of the Peoples’ Heritage Party (PHP) led by General Emmanuel Erskine.
He was educated in Poland on a scholarship offered by the Nkrumah Government.
In a tribute, Mr. Kwesi Pratt Jnr., a close friend described his death as “a great loss to the progressive community in Ghana”.
