A former National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joshua Hamidu Akamba, has indicated that President Akufo-Addo’s last-minute reshuffle of some ministerial appointees is utterly unnecessary as it cannot tackle the economic woes of the country.
Akamba said the decision by President Akufo-Addo will not end the suffering of Ghanaians, adding that it will never have any good impact on the already ailing Ghanaian economy.
He questioned why the governing NPP would reshuffle in an election year despite lambasting John Mahama under the erstwhile NDC administration of doing same.
He said prior to 2016 elections John Mahama reshuffled his Ministers but Dr Bawumia and NPP members described the move as ‘an election reshuffle’.
