Torgbe Agbozo Daku III, chief of Mafi Kumikope in the Central Tongu area under Mafi Adidome of the Volta Region, has extended a call to action to the Mafi Kumikope diaspora community, seeking their support to complete the construction of an ultra-modern multi purpose two-story chief’s pace in Mafi Kumikope.
He made this commitment to Mafi Kumikope diaspora community during a ground durbar held at Dambai lakeside in the Krachi East Municipality of the Oti Region to raise funds for the project.
The chief’s appeal highlights the importance of unity and collective effort in bringing this vision to life, however, he urged the diaspora community to contribute to the project, emphasizing that their support would be instrumental in completing the chief palace.
Speaking to newsmen, Torgbe Daku III said the ultra modern multi purpose chief’s palace will serve as a symbol of community price, featuring a conference space and offices.
He said the project aims to promote cultural preservation, community development and progress after completion.
Mr. Enoch Agbozo, chairman of the Mafi Bakpa Association in Krachi East, urged community members to come together and contribute to the project, highlighting its potential to promote cultural preservation, community development and progress.
The chairman extends his heartfelt gratitude to the host community in Dambai and members from Central Tongu for their warm hospitality and support.
