In a post shared on his official Facebook page on, Friday April 15th 2022, he wrote;

When the Assin North MP applied to renounce his Canadian citizenship, he turned in his certificate of naturalization, passport, and every other indication that he was a Canadian citizen. He also moved out of Canada and relocated to his holy village in Assin North.

With that application, he lawfully severed all his connections with the political community of Canada.

He could no longer go to Canada, save by visa just like any mono-Ghanafuo. He could no longer vote in Canada, just like any mono-Ghanafuo. He was not entitled to any rights of Canadian citizenship, just like any mono-Ghanafuo.

In fact, Canada could not have rejected his application and compelled him to be a Canadian just like Canada cannot confer “by-force” citizenship on any mono-Ghanafuo and compel them to be Canadians against their will!View pictures in App save up to 80% data.

The notion that this application for renunciation is somehow inchoate until some Canadian bureaucrat has decided to perform the ministerial task of issuing a letter to approve the application is one that will make Kofi Yesu turn in his tomb today.

The notion that he continued to owe allegiance to Canada from his village in Assin North is one that will baffle any fair-minded person who truly believes in development in freedom!

GOGO rejects this absurd view that the trust that we put in a natural born Ghanafuo, and the role that they are allowed to play in our political space should be determined by some Canadafuo bureaucrat in Ottawa or wherever they may be.

This whole drama and faux injunctions cannot be about loyalty, trust, fidelity, justice, law, common sense and all the jargons that are used to cover up the real motive. Politicians will be politicians but a Court of justice must see through the charade.”
