Host of Alhaji & Alhaji Sena Nombo has been invited by the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police to “assist investigations”

The Special Investigation Unit of the CID in a letter dated 24 February 2021 and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer of Pan African Television said the invitation was in connection with an investigation of “case of offensive conduct conducive to the breach of the peace involving Hon. Inusah Fuseini.”

It would be recalled that Alhaji Inusah Fuseini who is the immediate past MP for Tamale Central was earlier this week hauled before a Kaneshie District Court for what the police alleged was a refusal to honour an invitation to assist them with investigations.

The court however struck out the charges against the former MP after his lawyer Edudzi Kudzo Tamakloe revealed communications between himself and the CID over the MP’s unavailability to appear before the CID.

Inusah Fuseini subsequently told Sena Nombo on the Gold Power Drive, he was only unable to appear before the CID because the police failed to give his lawyers a new date after he became available.

The invitation of Sena Nombo comes after the court handed the case back to the CID to investigate and directed Alhaji Fuseini to appear before the investigative body.

The MP has since appeared before the police twice.

The invite to the Alhaji & Alhaji Talk show host said Alhaji Fuseini’s invitation was in relation to the edition of the show held on 12 December 2020 at the studios of Pan African Television, after the 7 December 2020 elections and subsequent declaration of election results on 9 December 2020.

Alhaji Inusah Fuseini was one of the guests that appeared on the show on the said date and is being investigated over comments made during the show.
