Qatar Charity Ghana Country Director Sheikh Hasan Owda Ali and his management on Friday 23rd October, 2026 handed over Umm Nasser sponsored Al-Rahman Mosque with project number 348846 to the Asutifi North District Chief Executive and his District Chief Imam at a ceremony held at OwusuAnsah farming community near Ahafo Kenyasi.

The construction of Qatar Charity donors Al-Rahman Mosque at a community without mosque, borehole and school is part of Qatar Charity country Director aim at equitably distributing his Qatary Charity donors humanitarian services to critically deserving cities. Towns, communities and hamlets across the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies [MMDAs] in each of the the sixteen [16] regions of Ghana.
According to the Chief Executive of the Asutifi North District Assembly Honourable Hafiz Dauda Dabiel, the Umm Nasser Sponsored Al-Rahman mosque is the first Qatar Charity Mosque project in the history of the Asutifi North District.
Honourable Hafiz used the opportunity and registered his sincere appreciation and gratitude to Qatar Charity Ghana office management especially, Madam Umm Nasser for donating such a modern House of Allah[ Al-Rahman Mosque] at Oúwusu Ansah farming community to serve the host community and nearby muslim brothers and sisters.
The Asutifi North District Chief Executive[ D.C.E] further assured Qatar Charity Ghana and their Contractor [ Rose Boateng construction limited], President John Dramani Mahama administration, the Ahafo Regional Minister Honourable Mrs Charity Gaderner, the Member of Parliament for the Asutifi North Constituency Honourable Ebenezer Kwaku Addo , the Traditional Councils, Office of the District Chief Imam and Assembly members willingness to invest state and private resources to maintain and sustain Qatar Charity current and future projects, namely Islamic schools[ mankarata ta], clinics, boreholes, teachers and nurses in his District.
Honourable Hafiz concluded his speech by appealing for additional projects from Qatar Charity global domors especially borehole and mankaranta to complement the Umm Nasser sponsored Al-rahaman Mosque at owusu Ansah.
The first term Member of Parliament for the Asutifi North Constituency walked his District Chief Executive talks by announcing to the Qatar representative Engineer Ehab Mohammed, Head of Departments of the Asutifi North District Assembly and the entire citizens of Ghana his planned donation of a Transformer and other materials for the Volta River Authority [ VRA] and the Northern Electricity Distribution Company Ltd [ NEDCO] to connect the Qatar charity donors Al-Rahman Mosque at Owusu Ansah and nearby communities to the national Grid to enable public addressing system and ceiling fans install to the owusu Ansah Jummah Mosque function and fulfil the good intention of Madam Umm Nasser charity services.
