MINORITY SHAKE UP:TAMALE SOUTH NDC SUPPORTERS BESIEGE PARTY OFFICE OVER HARUNA IDDRISU REMOVAL

NDC supporters in Tamale South Constituency have besieged the constituency office on Tuesday afternoon in their numbers.

The besiege is as a result of the party’s decision to drop Haruna Iddrisu from the minority leadership of parliament.

The General Secretary, Hon Fifi Fiavi Kwetey in a statement to the Rt Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin on Tuesday, January 23, 2023 affirming the changes of the minority’d hierarchy in parliament.

Accordingto reports, supporters were at the office to find out from constituency executives the import of the issue at hand.

The new parliamentary leadership of the NDC are; (Minority Leader- Hon Dr Cassiel Ato Forson), (Deputy Minority Leader- Hon Kofi Armah Buah), (Minority Whip –Hon Kwame Agbodza), ( First Deputy Whip –Hon Ahmed Ibrahim) and (Second Deputy Whip –Hon Comfort Doyo Ghasah).
