Kwesi Pratt Jnr. Hails Historic Move: President Mahama to Lead UN Adoption of Slave Trade as Crime Against Humanity on March 25, 2026

#SLAVERY On March 25TH, 2026, President John Dramani Mahama (@JDMahama) of Ghana will move for the adoption of a resolution in the United Nations General Assembly declaring the Slave Trade as a crime against humanity. He has already secured the support of all 55 African States and the Caribbean countries and the resolution is expected to be passed.

President Mahama will be acting in his capacity as the African Union Champion on #Reparations and as a historian who has spent decades researching the impact of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade on the African continent and in the diaspora. The evidence points to the fact that more than 12 million Africans were captured as beasts of burden to work the fields in the Americas and Europe for hundreds of years without pay.

More than 40 million Africans were killed in the brutal and inhuman wars for the capture of slaves. The adoption of the resolution should be seen as only the very first step towards mobilizing all Africans, wherever they may be, to reset the world.

Victory is Certain!
