Amidst a world navigating complex challenges, nations are increasingly focused on resetting and revitalizing their economic and social foundations. Ghana, under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama, has embarked on an ambitious national reset agenda to drive progress and development.
This commitment is bearing tangible fruit in communities like Kpando, where the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Killian Donkor, has hailed the positive impact of the President’s agenda. In a discussion with broadcast journalist Samali Abdul Razak, Hon. Donkor detailed the significant advancements witnessed in the municipality since the agenda’s implementation.
He outlined comprehensive improvements across key sectors—infrastructure, education, health, judiciary, and security. The Kpando Assembly, in collaboration with Member of Parliament Hon. Sebastian Deh, has achieved these results by strategically aligning with the national agenda. A flagship accomplishment has been the aggressive construction and rehabilitation of feeder roads, dramatically enhancing connectivity and mobility within the town, with more projects actively underway.
For residents, this transformation is real and impactful. Hon. Donkor emphasized that President Mahama’s reset agenda extends beyond physical infrastructure to encompass social and economic policies designed to stimulate job creation, reduce poverty, and foster inclusive growth—priorities made even more critical in the wake of global challenges like the pandemic.
“The improved roads have not only eased transportation but also energized local economic activity,” Hon. Donkor stated. “Furthermore, upgrades in education and healthcare are directly enhancing the well-being and future prospects of our people.”
He described the agenda as a beacon of hope for Kpando, signaling the government’s unwavering dedication to positive change. It has enabled the municipality to overcome previous obstacles and seize new opportunities for advancement.
In closing, Hon. Killian Donkor commended President Mahama’s reset agenda as a pivotal force for national renewal. Kpando’s ongoing transformation stands as a testament to its effectiveness. As Ghana continues its journey forward, the people of Kpando take pride in being active participants and beneficiaries in this collective march toward progress and development.
