The Israeli occupation authorities approved a decision to seize 147 dunums of lands from the town of Nahalin and Husan village, west of Bethlehem.

The director of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission office in Bethlehem, Hassan Brijieh, stated that the lands confiscated by the Israeli occupation authorities are located in Basin (3) from the “Zohr sedimented” area of Nahalin lands, and Natural Basin.

During the month of June, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated lands from the towns of Husan, Nahalin, and Wadi Fukin, changed their use from agricultural to industrial, and established recreational and administrative facilities and streets for settlers.

The village of Husan is located to the west of Bethlehem, and at a distance of 5.6 km from it. It is bordered to the east by the town of Al-Khader, to the north by the village of Battir, to the west by the village of Wadi Fukin and the Green Line, and to the south by the village of Nahalin.

The Israeli occupation authorities and settlers continue their violations against the town of Nahalin, which has been under attack for some time by settler ambitions, as the town is surrounded by a number of settlements built on its lands, and they control most of its area.
