Sam Pee Yalley, former Ghanaian High Commissioner to India and President of the NDC Professionals Forum, has passed away.
It is not immediately known what led to his sudden demise.
His death was announced by Deputy National Communications Officer of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Malik Basintale in a Facebook post on Sunday, April 6.
The NDC scribe paid tribute to Amb. Yalley, who was a respected diplomat, public figure and a regular panelist on Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana show, describing him as “a good man” and expressing hope of reuniting with him someday.
“You were a good man! We shall meet again someday H.E, as I always called you,” Malik Basintale, who is currently the Ag. Managing Director of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) wrote, expressing sadness with a crying emoji.
Sam Pee Yalley was a seasoned lawyer and government official who served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Pensions Regulatory Authority.

During his tenure as Ambassador, Sam Pee Yalley championed Ghana’s interests abroad and fostered strong diplomatic ties with India.
