In a bold move to make licensing and registration services more accessible to drivers, the Ayawaso West Municipal Assembly in collaboration with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), has extended its Community Outreach Programme within the area and its environs.
Services provided included driver’s licence registration, renewal, replacement of lost licences, and other related procedures.

Assembly Member for Abelemkpe Electoral Area, Teddy Kwei Baddoo explained the initiative was part of broader efforts to decentralise essential services.

“We believe that by bringing the services closer to them they would be able to easily access these essential services,” he said.

He further noted that his office was supporting residents with Health Insurance registration and other social services.

On his part, Municipal Chief Executive for Ayawaso West Municipal Assembly, Dr. Michael Mensah commended Teddy Kwei Baddoo for his contributions and encouraged other Assembly members to initiate similar developmental efforts.
