GRAND #DELUSION A grand delusion is unfolding right before our eyes. We are being told that peace has been achieved in #Gaza when the real problems remain untouched. First, there has been no movement towards the establishment of an independent Palestinian State. This is not even mentioned in the Trump-engineered agreement signed in #Egypt. While there is plenty of talk about disarming HAMAS, there is no focus on ensuring that Israel’s access to the weapons it has used in the commission of genocide in Gaza is curtailed. The right of Palestinian refugees to return to their homeland has also not been guaranteed and #Israel has over the last 48 hours expelled more than 100 Palestinians to some Arab States. Yesterday, Donald Trump(@realDonaldTrump) who has praised himself to the high heavens for resolving a 3,000-year-old conflict, threatened to use violence against HAMAS to protect Israel. This Trumpian peace appears at best to be suspicious.
