Days of Palestine – Gaza

The Hamas Movement has condemned the Israeli plan to double the number of Jewish settlers in the Jordan Valley, north of the occupied West Bank, as “another step targeting the Palestinian presence on their land.”

“The occupation regime’s announcement of a plan to increase the Zionist settlement presence in the Jordan Valley is a continuation of its aggression against the Palestinian people, their land, their presence and their identity,” Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem said in a press release on Wednesday.

“Such Zionist projects would be doomed to failure because of our people’s upholding of every iota of the Palestinian soil and their legitimate struggle to expel the occupation and its settlers from their land,” spokesman Qasem added.

He affirmed that Israel’s crimes against the Palestinian people and its settlement expansion projects cannot increase without its intimate relations with Arab countries and the Palestinian Authority.
