Vice President Prof Jane Naana OpokuAgyemang has emphasized the governments Inflexible commitment to advancing inclusive national development prioritizing the needs of women children and the marginalized during a visit to the Ghanaian community in Angola

Speaking alongside Minister for Foreign Affairs Hon Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and other dignitaries notably Ofosu Ampofo the Political advisor to the Vice President Prof OpokuAgyemang conveyed greetings from President John Dramani Mahama underscoring the longstanding relationship between Ghana and Angola rooted in the visionary leadership of Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah

The government is resolute in its pursuit of inclusive national development prioritizing the needs of women children and the marginalized Prof OpokuAgyemang declared We are committed to charting a bold new course leveraging our strategic advantage in the tropics to achieve food sovereignty and ensure that Ghanaians feel the benefits of national growth

The Vice President lauded the outstanding reputation of the Ghanaian community in Angola citing the Ambassadors reports of zero incidents of wrongdoing a testament to the discipline integrity and commitment of Ghanaian nationals

We are building a government that works with the people not just for the people Prof OpokuAgyemang emphasized Our vision for national progress requires collective collaboration and unity and we recognize the diverse skills and contributions of our nationals abroad

Highlighting Ghanas resolve to add value to its natural resources rather than exporting them in their raw form the Vice President noted that this approach will create jobs retain wealth and transform communities

We want Ghanaians both at home and abroad to feel the benefit of national growth she said urging all Ghanaians to register with the Embassy to ensure access to accurate information and proper support

The event hosted by Ghanas Ambassador to Angola HE Mavis Esi Kusorgbor served as a powerful reminder of the governments tremendous commitment to the welfare and progress of Ghanaians both at home and abroad
