Days of Palestine – Ramallah

A US grassroots movement Sunday slammed Israel’s killing of a 13-year-old Palestinian minor in the occupied West Bank.

CODEPINK took it to Twitter to condemn the killing of 13-year-old Mohammed Da‘adas, a resident of the Askar refugee camp in Nablus, who was shot in the stomach during a post-prayer confrontation with Israeli forces in Deir al-Hatab village, east of Nablus, that has become the site of repeated attacks by Israeli settler-colonists over the past month.

“13-year-old Mohammad Da’das was shot and killed by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank today, bringing the toll of Palestinian children murdered by Israel to at least 80. How many more?” it tweeted.

The women-initiated grassroots movement, which defines itself as working to end U.S. funded wars and occupations, also condemned Israel’s labelling to Palestinian human rights organization as “terrorist”.

“Meanwhile, Palestinian human rights organizations that seek justice for murdered or imprisoned children are being labeled “terrorist groups” by the Israeli government,” the organization tweeted. “The gall is absolutely sickening. #StandWithThe6”
