This is Why NPP Believes They Can Break the 8-Year Cycle – A Plus reveals

Read Time: 2 minutes

Social and political analyst Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus, has criticized the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentarians following the approval of President Akufo-Addo’s ministerial nominees by Parliament.

According to A Plus, he could not understand why NDC MPs would vote in favor of the new ministers’ confirmation, which violates convention. He referred to them as “criminals” and stated that the NDC is a “crooked party that has corruption embedded in its DNA.”

A Plus expressed sympathy for NDC foot soldiers, communicators, and party supporters, but also expressed his doubts about their ability to restore their party to power.

He claimed that despite their persistent efforts, their leaders are worse than those in the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP). A Plus stated, “All sacrifices you are making to bring the party to power will yield the same Akufo Addo sakawa governance we are experiencing today. Your people are worse than those you criticize.”

He went on to assert that the NPP is confident that they will break the eight-year cycle of alternating between the NPP and NDC because they believe that the NDC will take money.

A Plus concluded, “Criminals even in opposition!! It is Akufo-Addo and his mafia gang that have made NDC attractive.”
