SMG Elects Convener, General Secretary, Others As It Appoints New Officers For Standing Committee

The Socialist Movement of Ghana (SMG) of the weekend unanimously elected Comrade Kyeretwie Opoku as the Convener and Comrade Kwesi Pratt, Jnr as the General Secretary at the organisation’s official outdooring as a movement at Winneba in the Central Region. Comrade Yaw Opoku was also elected as Treasurer and Comrade Justice Akuffo Henaku as Head of the International Relations Department among others.

At the end of Congress, the Convenor, General Secretary, Treasurer and International Relations Secretary were elected to continue with the work they had so ably discharged under the erstwhile Socialist Forum of Ghana (SFG); while five (5) other members were appointed by the Central Committee to other positions, or to serve as on the Standing Committee, as follows:
