IMMEDIATE PRESS RELEASE
REVOKE REV. EDMUND YIRENKYI FIANKO’S APPOINTMENT AS DIRECTOR GENERAL OF NCA

Reports reaching the United Cadres Front indicate that, the named Director General of the
National Communications Authority (NCA), Rev. Edmund Yirenkyi Fianko, is a card-bearing
member of the New Patriotic Party.
Moreso, Rev. Fianko had a hand in the closure of Radio Gold, Muntie fm and other pro-NDC
media stations.
Furthermore, with an NPP member taking that appointment would mean continuing the
diabolical works of Joseph Anokye who was specifically brought in from the USA to help the
NPP win the 2016 elections.
Wrangling’s in the leadership of the NDC concerning this alleged appointment
notwithstanding, the United Cadres Front would strongly suggest the immediate revocation
of it.
Another appointment that is allegedly handed to another pro-NPP person is that of the
Commissioner – General of Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) in the name of one Mr. Anthony
Sarpong, needs to be seriously considered for immediate revocation.
We strongly advise that the mole or moles in NDC who have a hand in this anti-party
appointments need to be exposed.
