PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION PETITION: WILL MAHAMA GO FOR A REVIEW

Read Time: 2 minutes

Lawyers for former President John Dramani Mahama are seriously considering whether to apply for a review of the Supreme Court decision which confirmed the election of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo as valid.

Former President Mahama and his lawyers insist that the decision of the Supreme Court amounts to the subversion of justice because the court did not properly evaluate the evidence before it.

Mr Abraham Amaliba, a member of the Legal team told Pan African Television that they would get a certified copy of the decision today and will study it thoroughly to determine whether to apply for a review or not.

In an interview on the current affairs programme” TALK TIME” by Kwesi Pratt Jnr, Mr Amaliba said the position of former President Mahama will be vindicated in the future.

The interview will be telecast on Saturday, March 6,2021 at 8pm and repeated on Sunday March 7,2021 at 9:00pm.

Mr Amaliba said, the petitioner presented the count with clear evidence of vote padding which should have led to substantial questions being raised about the integrity of the process of election.
