The new ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of Benin, Nativity Scene Teresa Orsini Pic, presented his credentials to the President, Patrice Talon. The ceremony took place in the Palace of the Marina, Cotonou city, Benin.
During the meeting, the Venezuelan diplomat sent a warm greeting from the President Nicolas Maduro and deeply appreciated the reception and support that the Beninese government has expressed towards the Venezuelan Government. He also stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and opening new areas of cooperation.
For his part, President Patrice Talon sent a fraternal and friendly greeting to the Constitutional President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros. Likewise, he expressed his admiration for the Venezuelan people, for facing the great pressures that they are currently experiencing, while expressing their commitment to deepen bilateral relations with Venezuela.
The protocol ceremony was attended by the authorities of the Presidency and the Foreign Ministry of Benin, as well as members of the accredited Venezuelan Diplomatic Mission in that country.
