Police Say Sam Larry, Suspect in Mohbad’s Death Has Been Arrested

A music promoter and one of those being a accused of having hands in the sudden death of singer, Oladimeji Ilerioluwa Aloba, Mohbad, Samson Balogun, also called Sam Larry, has been arrested.

Spokesman of the Police Command in Lagos, Benjamin Hundeyin, made this disclosure via his X handle late Thursday.

“Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody. He is currently assisting with ongoing investigation,” tweeted Hundeyin late Thursday

NPO Reports that Sam Larry has remained at the centre of the entire saga over the death of the singer since the incident on September 12.

He was seen in a video leading an attack on the singer.

Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Music, had parted ways with the company a development that had alleged caused rifts between him and the Marlian Music boss Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley.

Sam Larry is one of the allies of Naira Marley who has also promised to turn himself in for investigation.
