Police arrest suspect for vandalizing monument at Airport roundabout

The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has arrested a man suspected of causing damage to a monument and several signposts at the Airport Roundabout in Accra.

The suspect, identified as Newwel Gavu, is currently in police custody and will be processed according to the law, as confirmed in a brief statement released by the police on Saturday.

“We would like to commend members of the public and the Airport security for their vigilance which led to the arrest of the suspect,” it added.
