July 11, 2022

The Socialist Movement of Ghana (SMG) extends its solidarity to the 5th Congress of the Party for Socialism and Liberation currently taking place in New York in the United States of America.

We Salute the Party and its leadership for their contributions to the worldwide struggle against the decadent forces of capitalism and Imperialism and pledge to stand shoulder to shoulder with you until final victory.

It is noteworthy that your congress is taking place at a time of renewed aggression by the forces of Imperialism against those struggling against domination and exploitation, especially in Palestine, the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic, Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua.

This is also a period of grave economic hardship for the working people of the USA who are also confronting racism in all its manifestations.

The SMG affirms its full solidarity with the Party for Socialism and Liberation and is confident that we shall win in this struggle for social justice, meaningful democracy and peace.

Signed

Kwesi Pratt, Jnr.

General Secretary

Godfred Meba
