The Ketu North Constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bismark Adrigbateh, has lauded the party’s National Chairman, Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, describing him as a “Field Marshall of Politics” for his exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to political activism.

Mr. Adrigbateh assured Hon. Asiedu Nketiah of the constituency’s steadfast support and extended a warm welcome to him as part of his ongoing “Thank You Tour” in the Volta Region.

Speaking at the event, the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, commended the National Chairman’s outreach efforts, describing the tour as “biblical, traditional, and logical.” He emphasized the importance of gratitude in leadership, noting that showing appreciation to supporters strengthens the party’s unity and moral foundation.

In his address, Hon. Asiedu Nketiah expressed heartfelt appreciation to the chiefs and people of Ketu North for their consistent show of support whenever he visits the constituency for political engagements. He recalled their steadfastness during the 2024 General Election campaign, when they waited for him despite the rain.

The NDC Chairman reminded party members that the power entrusted to them is a mandate to “reset the country” and work in the interest of all Ghanaians, who will ultimately assess their performance over the party’s four-year tenure in office.

Touching on internal party matters, Hon. Asiedu Nketiah called for unity and patience among members regarding political appointments.

“Our struggle for political appointments is not bad, but not all will get appointments now,” he said. “Those of you who have not been appointed yet should rally behind those who have, so that together we can reset the country.”
