Israeli forces attack fishermen and farmers in Gaza

The Israeli occupation forces on Monday morning attacked Palestinian fishermen and farmers in the west and east of the besieged Gaza Strip.

According to local sources, Israeli gunboats attacked fishermen and their boats with live ammunition and water cannons during their presence within three nautical miles off the shore of as-Sudaniya area in the northwest of Gaza City.

Luckily, no one was hurt, but at least one fishing boat sustained damage in the attack.

Meanwhile, the Israeli forces opened fire from watchtowers at a group of farmers as they were working their swaths of land in a border area in the east of Gaza City, particularly in the east of al-Zeitoun neighborhood. The intensity of the shooting forced the farmers to leave the area.

In another incident, a number of Israeli forces bulldozers infiltrated into the east of al-Qarara town in Khan Yunis, south of Gaza, and embarked on leveling tracts of land.

A similar incursion also happened in a border area in the east of al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, amid drone overflights.

Last night, the Israeli forces arrested four young men in two separate incidents after they infiltrated into the Israeli side of the border in the southeast of Gaza.

The Israeli forces claimed that the detained young men were found in possession of knives.
