“I was born a slave, but nature gave me a soul of a free man.” – Toussaint Louverture

On this day in 1801 Toussaint Louverture became governor of the island of Hispaniola, freeing all the slaves.

For fighting against the vicious evil that is colonialism, Haiti has been forced to pay reparations and suffer under various dictatorial neocolonial regimes. Whenever there is a Haitian leader widely supported by the Haitian people, such as Jean-Bertrand Aristide, they are quickly overthrown by Western imperialists.

Solidarity with the Haitian people and the history of anticolonial and antiimperialist struggle that inspires us to this day!

Down with the fascist regime of Moise!

  • Have you ever thought about adding a little bit more than just your
articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and everything.
But think about if you added some great pictures or
videos to give your posts more, "pop"! Your content is excellent but
with pics and videos, this site could definitely be one of the best in its niche.
