Greater Accra Regional Minister pledges to deal with poor sanitation

The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Linda Ocloo has assured the public of dealing firmly with poor sanitation and improving security within the capital.
This assurance came to light during an engagement with the media on her first day at the Regional Co-ordinating Council.
The seasoned politician was vetted for two minutes when she appeared before the Appointments Committee in Parliament last week.
After embarking on a familiarization tour of the Regional Co-ordinating Council, The Regional Minister who doubles as Member of Parliament for the Shai Osudoku constituency assured the public of dealing with poor sanitation and improving security as a check on crime which has reached nightmarish proportions.

Chief Director at the Council, Lilian Baeka also pledged the full support of her staff in working assiduously to achieve the minister’s mandate.
The Minister also promised to set aside the last Friday of every month to sanitize the Region.

She is the second female appointed to the council after Selina Taylor during the Provisional National Defence Council era.
