PRESS STATEMENT
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ENOUGH OF THE SECRECY—NPP MEMBERS DESERVE TO SEE THE MIKE OCQUAYE REPORT
We, the NPP Freedom Fighters, are deeply concerned by the continued silence surrounding the Mike Ocquaye report. In a party that prides itself on democratic values and accountability, this level of secrecy is not only unacceptable
;it is dangerous!.
This report did not write itself. It was shaped by the candid contributions of well meaning NPP members ie.party foot soldiers, regional executives, MPs, and grassroots organisers who shared their truths in the hope that it would lead to positive reforms. To now shut them out of the very report their voices built is an insult to the spirit of party unity.
As members of the New Patriotic Party, we have every right to access the full content of the report. We are not outsiders;we are the very people who keep this party alive. If this report touches on internal reform, governance weaknesses, or ways to strengthen the NPP, then its concealment raises serious questions about what is being hidden, and from whom.
We demand full disclosure. Let the party base see what came out of their voices. Let the nation see where we stand as an opposition party. Anything less is a betrayal of trust.
We call on the National Council, the leadership of the NPP, and all stakeholders to release the Mike Ocquaye report without delay.
You cannot ask us to build the house and then lock us out.
