#COMRADE AREMU
I have just been informed of the passing of Comrade Abiodum Aremu, and I am completely devastated.
Comrade Aremu made significant contributions to the advocacy for socialism in #Nigeria and throughout #Africa.
He was also a very keen participant in the work of the Solidarity movement with #Cuba and was stridently opposed to the illegal blockades imposed on the Island State by the United States of America.
I am convinced that the only meaningful way of mourning Comrade Aremu is to continue his work for socialism and solidarity with Cuba, Venezuela, the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic,
and #Palestine.
We can never forget Comrade Aremu’s bold confrontation with imperialism.
