AUCB inks MOU with HTC to enhance academic ties.

The African University of Communications and Business (AUCB) have signed Memorandum of Understanding with the Houston-Tillotson University (HTU) to enhance academic exchange, cultural ties and entrepreneurial development of the two institutions.


This partnership aims to provide students with cross-culture experiences and global academic exposure through student exchange programs with a dual study module. And create opportunities for students from both institutions to study abroad and gain valuable experience.


Speaking to Pan African Televisions’ George Yawson Vineh at the event, Vice Chancellor of African University of Communications and a business, Professor Abeku Blankson emphasized that the partnership will not lead to significant fee increase for students but efforts will be made to ensure that the program remains affordable.


“We believe that Ghanaians, everybody has the opportunity to study outside. And when you finish, you won’t want to stay outside because you come back home and create opportunities for ourselves” he mentioned.
Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at the HTU Dr. Archie Vanderpuye re-echoed the essence of the partnership among the two institutions. “ the program seeks to promote Pan Africanism through academic exchange by the two institutions” he says.
Houston-Tillontson University is a private higher institution of learning established in 1875.
Sited in Austin, Texas, it has been touted as one of the finest in the United States of America.
