A LETTER TO JOE BIDEN AND VOLODYMR ZELENSKY

Read Time: 4 minutes

Thank you for this critical comment and observation.

My country, Ghana, has gone through this experiment, before. It is with great pain to add, that even after several years of this experiment with effective date of manifestation as February 24, 1966, the experiment has traces as far back as 1844, offsprings of elements who gullibly volunteered this territory now known as Ghana, haven’t still learnt any lessons and shown regrets and remorse.

From Ghana, we wish Volodymr Zelensky, his Azov brigands and his newfound Polish, Latvian brothers begging Germany, Britain and the USA to be taken in as their second class citizens to spite ‘communist’ Russia, well.

We in Ghana have an experience from the very day Don Diogode Azambuja first set foot on this territory on January 19, 1482. This renowned territory of human and natural resources was turned into the Slave Coast and much later, the Gold Coast, in a taunt of loot by these metropolitan brigands in praise of how much they impoverished the territory to build and feed their famished societies.

Yes, we still have in our midst traitors, who have taken after their ancestors who once sent a delegation to Buckingham Palace to gleefully plead with the Queen to rescind her decision to abolish slave trade.

This is how the trade went. They, the petitioners, were recipients of alcohol and alcoholic beverages, cloth and cigarettes, gun and gun powder, magnets and mirrors; whilst in return these metropolitan brigands got diamonds, gold and slaves which are capital assets and renewable resources with exponential annual growth rate returns.

Woken from a tattered image of drunks and dazed addicts of tobacco-stained nicotine, after having exhausted all gunpowder used in raids to capture their neighbours in trophy of superiority to feed the slave market, they still needed another fix of alcohol and alcoholic beverages, more nicotine from inhaled cigarettes and tobacco, fresh calico to cover their nakedness, a fresh supply of guns and gunpowder to dig deeper into the land to fetch more slaves in exchange for the continous supply of all the above, canned foods, magnets and mirrors as badges of honour for barbarism and savagery.

As late as 1948, after a boastful education with pride as a product of British education from Oxford University to become a professional lawyer, an offspring was proud to educate his British benefactors, that human sacrifice in ritual may be alien to British laws. In his [this doyen of Ghana’s democracy] arguments in plea, he pleaded for the British legal system to give it [human sacrifice in ritual] assent and official endorsement.

But the Russians aren’t naive as we did in Ghana after February 24, 1966, when the political elite and the ruling class, in brazen stupidity, gave out the first and only Russian technology nuclear reactor donated by the defunct German Democratic Republic to the Americans. Visionary Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah envisaged the need to complement the Akosombo Hydro Electric Dam with a nuclear-powered supply of abundant electricity for industrialisation.

Also, a newly acquired VC 10, brought to complement a fleet of aircrafts belonging to the Ghana Airways, the national carrier that branded the dignity, image and reputation of the nation-state, was stolen, flown to Egypt, the last time of hearing about it, as did recently in 2007 with a drill ship acquired by the GNPC.

But in a sardonic mock, the very offsprings of this wicked plot, have blamed erratic power supply in attempt to blackmail the political career of an innocent patriot with dedicated commitment to rebuild Ghana, and birthed the English vocabulary with dumsor.

In fact, when the opportunity offered itself for these offsprings to right the wrongs from January 7, 2001 to January 7, 2009, in the Third and Fourth governments of the reigning Fourth Republic; and repeated from January 7, 2017 and expected to end on January 7, 2025, also representing the Seventh and Eight governments of this current Fourth Republic; the governments enumerated above either spent a huge budget to take pastors or priests to the Akosombo Hydro Electric Dam to pray for rainfall to fill the drying lake, or destroyed public buildings housing public servants to make way for the construction of a National Cathedral, described as the most expensive excavation in world history, having gobbled US $400m with nothing more than just excavation to show.

It is a humble prayer to touch the heart of bloodthirsty America, responsible for the carnage in Ukraine in pursuit of an Anglo-Saxon hegemony ambition by making a stooge of Volodymr Zelensky and oozing the blood of innocent Ukrainians in ritual to fuel its rivalry instead of a fraternal cooperation to rebuild this ruined world with gapping human capital development towards healing the destroyed environment which is the only known home of all humans and its supporting lives.

Let’s learn to live in peace and eschew the trappings of ego bloating, a primitive derivative of inferiority complex. Let’s learn from our feline friend to butt an eyelid when tempted. Or at best, a gentle meow. But let’s not copy a canine attitude of barking and howling in quixotic awe at nothing but shadows or silhouettes.

Russia is an autarkic state with a robust economy. It will not fall. America is a government and with no spirit of a state. Ghana is even better than America, as a state.

Peace.
